About FamilyGroceries
Shop together, stay organized
What FamilyGroceries does
FamilyGroceries is a shared shopping list app that keeps everyone in a household or group on the same page. Create a list in seconds, then invite family, roommates, or coworkers with a short join code or a QR link. Everyone can add items the moment they think of them, so nothing gets forgotten on the way to the store. With buyer mode, the person doing the shopping can lock the list, mark each item as purchased or unavailable, and complete the trip in a single tap. Finished trips are saved to a purchase history, and any out-of-stock items roll over automatically into the next list. The app works in English and Spanish and is built to run smoothly on a phone, including straight from your home screen.
Who it is for
FamilyGroceries is made for anyone who shares the job of buying groceries: families, couples, roommates, office and team snack runs, and community groups. If more than one person contributes to a shopping list, it removes the back-and-forth texts and the forgotten items.
Who builds it
FamilyGroceries is an independent project built at Simpleeasy.org by Francisco. It began with a simple everyday frustration, juggling grocery lists across a household, and grew into a small, focused tool that does one thing well: make shopping together simple.
